13 – Foreign connections

Though the attacks sent us to war in Afghanistan and Iraq, none of the alleged 9/11 hijackers were from those countries. One was from Lebanon, one was from Egypt, two were from the United Arab Emirates and fifteen were from Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia

Two of the hijackers – Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar – were Saudi agents, and a third, too, was being tracked by Saudi officials. These three lived in San Diego with an FBI informant before the attacks, but the informant failed to tell his handlers about them. After the attacks, the White House prevented investigation of the informant. There are also allegations that Saudi intelligence and officials linked directly to the Saudi Royal family sent money to the hijackers. The 9/11 Commission uncovered a CIA memo stating there was “incontrovertible evidence that there is support for these terrorists within the Saudi government“.

Saudi Arabia has been an ally of the United States since 1933, but it was wholly uncooperative in investigations into the hijackers, and the CIA collected no intelligence on or from Saudi Arabia under orders from the White House. Exploration of its involvement in the 9/11 attacks was blocked and censored from the 9/11 Commission report, stonewalled by the White House, and a whole 28-page chapter on the subject was cut from the Congressional Inquiry report.

It seems inarguable that Saudi Arabia funded, and probably still funds, Muslim terrorists. Yet as an economic ally of the US, with the second largest oil reserves of any country, it has attracted no retaliation or sanctions.

Israel

On 9/11, a group of Israelis taking photographs of the World Trade Center disaster, dancing and cheering, were arrested. At least two of them were reported to be MOSSAD agents – Israeli intelligence – and all on a MOSSAD surveillance mission, with foreknowledge of the attacks. In their van were maps of the city with certain locations highlighted, cash stuffed in a sock, foreign passports, boxcutters and probable traces of explosives. They were held and interrogated for several weeks, and then deported back to Israel without charge.

Also on 9/11, two employees of Israeli company Odigo, which has its headquarters just streets away from the World Trade Center, received messages forecasting the attacks almost to the minute. And Israeli-owned Zim shipping company broke its lease at a cost of $50,000 to move its offices out of the twin towers just in time for the attacks. It has also been pointed out that Israeli-owned security company ICTS was in charge of security at all airports involved in the attacks.

In 2002, a British intelligence report linked MOSSAD directly to the hijackers and the plot. Jewish US marine veteran Dr Alan Sabrowsky accuses MOSSAD and Zionists in America of the plot.

Israel, America’s closest ally, has perhaps the greatest motive for fuelling aggression against the Middle East, and indeed once launched a series of flase-flag attacks to do just that, which failed. Yet there is no exploration of Israeli links to the attacks in any official report.

Pakistan

Saeed Sheikh, a British-born Pakistani militant with links to al Qaeda, sent the hijackers $100,000 shortly before the attacks too – allegedly at the behest of Lieutenant General Mahmood Ahmed, the director of Pakistan’s intelligence service, the ISI. The ISI is also said to have sheltered bin Laden and facilitated hospital treatment for him. Yet Pakistani links to the attacks are not explored in any official report. Saaed Sheikh also has ties with MI6 and the CIA.
